This was almost the link party that wasn't. Right before I was going to set up this post last night, we experienced a power outage in our area. And when those little events happen, my brain goes into hyperdrive. I'm a worry wart like no other. The power goes out and I instantly think, "Ohhh here we go. Zombie Apocalypse." or "We're done for. We've reached the dark ages and all of our technology has imploded." or "Terrorists!" Not kidding. It's kind of scary when I think up these insane scenarios for myself. I try to laugh at myself after getting worked up. I must watch too many catastrophe movies or something.
Right as we were about to walk out the door with our packed bag to stay at my parents' house across town, the power came back on. And my zombie worries were over. Okay, technically they were over when I realized it was only our neighborhood that had no electricity and not the entire world. So yay! I'm alive! It's the little things we take for granted in life like light bulbs that really make you realize how grateful we should be, right?
Fair warning: I got a little carried away with my features this week. But I kind of do every week. I can't help that y'all are super creative people. How am I supposed to choose from this batch of brilliance? I love it! Happy linking! Be sure to visit a couple others too. :)

How BRILLIANT is Cami's method from Tidbits to create French grain sack projects using a rolling pin?! Definitely trying this one.
Jen from Noting Grace's perspective on how to handle negative blog comments is spot on. She echos exactly my thoughts on them. It's one of the few downsides of putting yourself out there as a blogger. If negative feedback is a hard pill for you to swallow too, read this one. You'll feel better.
This nursery from Buena Vista Road is so precious. I can hardly stand it. You have to see the entire before and after.
The Curator's Collection shared this gorgeous beverage bar makeover using one of Miss Mustard Seed's colors from her new paint line. I must get my hands on this color!
This family room Roxanne from The Honeycomb Home shared is so pretty. My favorite is the coffee table, but you have to see the whole room!
Julie's laundry room makeover from Restyle Relove is absolutely adorable. Her signs everywhere gives this space so much character.
