Hello lovely friends! Today, I was hoping to share a few more big projects I've been working on but ya know how the story goes...there's always some sort of hiccup. That's usually my story anyways.
But no biggie. It gives me the chance to share one of my latest holy-schnikies-that's-amazing DIY infatuations. If you've seen these before, then I guess I've been living under a rock (mothering a toddler where your world centers around Sesame Street and princess tea parties can do that to you), but just recently I've noticed some incredible projects involving one super cheap and majorly impactful material: wooden shims!
These puppies ring in at just $4 for a pack of 40 at most home improvement stores, and there are so many great uses for them! My brain is already swirling with ideas to try one. These creative ladies rocked them.

Once this tea party princess of mine goes down for a nap (after most likely putting up the longest fight she can muster), I'll be wrapping up a half-finished bookcase that has been mocking me from the garage. The thing's gotten as much sass with me lately as the two year-old. ;)
