I'm so happy to report that this weekend, we've been chugging right along on our master bathroom progress, and I finally figured out what to do with the itty bitty high window in there.
Bathroom windows are so weird! Have you run into that problem before too? And, I mean, I had to do something with it because hellooooo, neighbors. Y'all might get to know us too well without something on it.
I wasn't loving the very basic, skinny blinds we had for privacy purposes until I could figure out a prettier solution. I knew I wanted a roman shade in here but thought it might be a while.

(I'd be telling you guys this even without Levolor being generous in providing some blinds for me, in all honesty.) The hubby and I bought blinds for our entire house last year because they really were the best price we could find for the best quality.
I love the look of plantation shutters, but there was no way we could afford them. So we bought the Levolor Premium Faux Wood Cordless Blinds for 14 of our 15 windows, and we have been completely happy. It's nice not having to worry about sassy little Olivia finding a cord and trying to use it as a necklace (then, giving mommy a heart attack).
But since I wanted something a bit different in our bathroom, I went with the Mahogany Bamboo Natural Roman Shade. Insert cheesy grins and spirit fingers, y'all. I've been wanting a bamboo roman shade for way too long.
Even back at the beginning of last year when we were buying our huge blinds haul, we were able to get them cut really quickly for free in the store without a bunch of hassle and had them all put up within a couple of hours, so this one was a breeze.
It took less than 5 minutes while the Lowe's associate cut them for me and we had a quick mommy bonding session talking about our little ones.
Meanwhile, down the aisle...
I'm pretty sure all of the customers at Lowe's on Saturday wanted to clap when we left the store. Our kid was NOT having it. Thank goodness it was a fast process.
We managed to pick up some supplies for another bathroom project too, but you'll be seeing more on that tomorrow along with our jazzed up window later on. I can't wait to show it off! You can check out more of Levolor's blinds and shades here.
Ahem- Do you see that Dallas Cowboys hat Robert is wearing? I'm afraid his weekend didn't go as nicely as mine. ;) Poor guy. Next year, boys, next year.
